Welcome to La Campanula! These Terms and Conditions govern all bookings and stays at our guesthouse located in La Spezia, Italy. By making a reservation with us, you agree to abide by the terms outlined below.

1. General Information

 

La Campanula is a registered affittacamere offering short-term room rentals in accordance with Italian hospitality regulations. Our aim is to provide a pleasant, safe, and comfortable stay to all our guests.

2. Booking and Confirmation

 

• Reservations can be made via our website, by email, phone, or through third-party booking platforms.

• All reservations are subject to availability and are confirmed only upon receipt of a confirmation email.

• A valid credit card or deposit may be required to secure your booking.

3. Rates and Payment

 

• All prices are quoted in Euros (€) and include VAT unless stated otherwise.

• Room rates include utilities, linen, towels, Wi-Fi, and cleaning service (as specified in booking).

• Payment is due as outlined during the booking process. We accept major credit cards and cash.

4. Cancellation and Refund Policy

 

• Free cancellation is available up to 7 days prior to the arrival date.

• If you cancel less than 7 days before arrival, the full booking amount will be charged.

• In case of no-show or early departure, the full amount of the reservation is non-refundable.

• All cancellations must be communicated in writing via email or through the booking platform used.

5. Check-In and Check-Out

 

• Check-in: From 14:00 to 20:00 (earlier or later times may be available upon request).

• Check-out: By 10:00 on the day of departure.

• Valid identification (passport or EU ID card) is required upon check-in, in accordance with Italian law.

6. House Rules

 

• Smoking is not permitted inside the rooms or common areas.

• No parties, loud noise, or disturbances are allowed.

• Only registered guests are allowed in the rooms unless prior authorization is given.

• Guests are responsible for any damage caused to the property during their stay.

7. Children and Extra Beds

 

• Children are welcome.

• Availability of extra beds or baby cots must be confirmed in advance and may incur additional charges.

8. Pets

 

• Pets are not allowed, unless previously agreed upon and confirmed in writing.

9. Liability

 

• La Campanula is not responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to personal property.

• Guests are advised to use in-room safes (if provided) and ensure doors are locked when leaving the premises.

10. Force Majeure

 

La Campanula is not liable for failure to perform its obligations due to circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to natural disasters, fire, strikes, pandemics, or government regulations.

11. Privacy Policy

12. Governing Law

 

These Terms and Conditions are governed by Italian law. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in La Spezia, Italy.

13. Local City Tax

​

• A local city tax (tassa di soggiorno), as mandated by the Municipality of La Spezia, is not included in the room rate and must be paid in cash upon check-in.

• The amount is currently set at €2.50 per person, per night, up to a maximum of 5 consecutive nights.

• Children under the age of 16 and certain categories of travelers may be exempt, in accordance with local regulations.
